When I was still a preteen DS 2 was in development and well the trailers use to really scare me (I was a little bitch who was to afraid to watch anything more unsettling than a cheesy thriller flick) and even before that I would sneak into my uncles room to only be freaked out watching him play DS1 yet by some sick fascination I slowly creeped closer, investigated, and played. DS is a special case to me well because it’s my most beloved survival horror franchise and what got me hooked on the franchise. To answer the actual question you asked however. Military picks up signal underwater and a crew goes down to investigate and everyone starts hallucinating horrors.ĭescent - Stuck underground with some crazy monsters and no weapons.I mean yes but no. The Abyss - More dramatic then horror but a great underwater clautrophobic meeting alien flick. Red Planet - Fun end of the world colonize Mars movie with a psychotic Robot. JASON-X - I'm on a roll with the corny 80's sci-fi horror but this one actually has a connection to DS ! The black dude IS the guy that plays and voices Hammond, Peter Mensah. Just watch the trailer: Ģ8 Days Later / 28 Weeks Later - Solitary insane speed zombies. Galaxy of Terror - Another crazy 80's sci-fi. Ghosts of Mars - Cheesy 80's type sci-fi horror about mutant humans on an outpost on Mars. Sunshine - Mission to restart the sun goes awry, sci-fi at first then really horror esque on a spaceship. Pitch-Black - Vin Diesel and a crew trapped on an alien planet that are afraid of light. Pandorum - Everyone lost their memory on a ship and there is some crazy things about. I swear the ship is the basis for Inshimura. I'll add some favorites of mine in type of theme (solitary horror):Įvent Horizon - My favorite suspensful horror in space.
